Trent White has established himself as one of Perth’s finest up and coming jazz singers. His penchant for unique and sophisticated delivery and own smouldering arrangements of classic jazz standards are complimented with his rich, soulful tone and resonant vocal qualities. Growing up on Sinatra records, Trent has a captivating sense of swing, intense energy on stage and strong delivery of music with the band - often described as being far beyond his years. At just 21 years of age, Trent has performed with some of the finest names in Australian jazz; Mark Fitzgibbon, Graham Wood, Ray Walker, Carl Mackey, Libby Hammer, Hip Mo' Toast Big Band, and Perth Jazz Orchestra to name a few. A final year student of jazz studies at the prestigious Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, he is already making a name for himself and emerging as an excitingly promising vocal talent on the Perth jazz scene. Trent has developed an ever increasingly recognisable style for himself, singing the beloved and well trodden repertoire of jazz evergreens with a completely fresh and youthful approach. His strong and natural stage presence and true love for this music creates a complete musical experience that audiences around Australia are receiving very well.
