Cassie Swinney

Cassie Has studied folk harp and voice for over ten years.

As a Harpist she is a regular performer at weddings, baby naming ceremonies, fundraisers and festivals.

She has performed in several prestigious Perth theatre groups as an actor, singer and harpist and has travelled to the Eastern States, Europe and England with various ensembles.

In 2004 Cassie, with her band Escher, released their debut EP “Precious Things” This has gained some excellent reviews and solid community radio airplay across Australia. In the week after its release, Escher’s song “Breathe” won the contemporary pop category of the 2004 Western Australian Music Industry Association Song Contest, competing against 1300 other entries. Their launch show was also officially sponsored by Perth radio station RTR Fm.

Cassie sings and plays a variety of Folk songs and original pieces.
