Garry Lee's ensembles provide a sophisticated blend of jazz, latin and popular music at an ambient background volume.
Garry is unique in the world of jazz performing and recording on vibraphone and guitar. He won an Australian Jazz Award in 1993 for his vibraphone playing following the international release of his first CD – I Mean You – that received excellent reviews and airplay in the US and UK.
Garry became the first Australian jazz musician to receive a Churchill Fellowship  which allowed him to study in the US with the world’s leading jazz vibists. During the Sydney Olympics Garry performed with Don Burrows at the Sydney Jazz 2000 Concert. He has performed at jazz festivals and concerts in Singapore, Japan, Indonesia and throughout Australia.
Garry performs solo guitar [and occasional vocals] and works extensively with the Tim Aarons Trio as well as leading his own trio andquartet. Garry has performed with a variety of WA’s leading jazz vocalists – Libby Hammer, James Flynn, Tina Kemp, Kerry Ella, Denise Dale and June Newman.
