Monica Csaba has a Bachelor of Music from the University of Western Australia.
Monica began learning the viola at the age of 10.
In 1997 she first joined the West Australian Youth Orchestra and remained a member until 2005. During this time Monica traveled twice to Europe, in 2002 and 2005, with the West Australian Youth Orchestra with conductor Peter Moore. In 2004 and 2005 she attended National Music Camp in Canberra and Melbourne.
From 2005 Monica first became a member of the Australian Youth Orchestra and in 2006 became section leader. As a member of the Australian Youth Orchestra, Monica has performed a number of works such as Wagner’s Tristan and Isolde, Mahler’s Das Lied von der Erde (Songs of the Earth), Shostakovich’s Symphony No.10 and Prokofiev’s Symphony No.5, and has worked with a range of conductors including John Harding, Arvo Volmer, Mischa Santora, Richard Mills and Diego Masson.Book This Performer
