CATHERINE CAHILL graduated from the University of WA in 1994. Her postgraduate studies have included lessons in London and New York, studying with clarinettists from the London and Royal Philharmonic Orchestras, and Ricardo Morales from the New York Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. She won a scholarship from the prestigious Mannes College of Music in New York, and gained her Graduate Diploma in Professional Studies (Clarinet) in 1999. Catherine has played professionally with orchestras in New York and London, the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, and works frequently with the WASO. She also runs the Elandra Ensemble and teaches at the University of WA School of Music and the WA Conservatorium.
