In 2007 she produced and performed her first show UNO! featuring a combination of her own compositions and commissioned works. She regularly commissions solo works from Western Australian composers including David Pye, Graeme Blevins, Paul Tanner, Josh Hogan, Jeremy Poole-Johnson, Myles Wright and Steve Richter. She has also commissioned work from New Zealander e.j. dobson. Louise recorded a collection of these works for broadcast with ABC Classic FM in 2008 and these works have been placed in regular rotation on a number of ABC stations since. This exposure has resulted in solo invitations to the Australian International Marimba Festival (Canberra 2008), representing WA for National Youth Week (2009), the Bang on a Can Summer Music Festival (Massachusetts 2009) and the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (Indiana 2010).
From 2004 to 2010 Louise was a permanent member of internationally acclaimed ensemble Tetrafide Percussion, and with this group worked with a number of artists including the Indian Dancers of the Temple of Fine Arts, LINK Dance Company and Christine Anu and held a residency at WAAPA for 3 years. In addition to Tetrafide, Louise worked with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra in symphonic, opera, ballet and contemporary seasons, Juniper Chamber Orchestra, Spanish dance groups Casa Del Compas and Flamenco Puro, Tura New Music, Paul Tanner, the Australian Classical Era Orchestra, new music ensemble Etica and many other groups in Perth.
